Since 1890, the Garcia Carrion family has crafted exceptional wines and beverages, offering unmatched quality at affordable prices. Our five generations of dedication ensure every bottle reflects our enduring values of excellence, care, and passion.
Garcia Carrion embraces environmentally sound, sustainable practices that help to conserve and protect the planet. In Spain, where water is a precious resource, we’ve made significant strides in reducing our environmental impact by treating and reusing wastewater. For example, we recycle 100% of our wastewater to irrigate over 1 million orange trees, saving 2 million liters of water daily in our Huelva plant. On our Huelva farm, we’ve also dedicated 250 hectares as a Natural Park, providing a safe haven for bustards, a beautiful but declining bird species, to thrive.
The CIV USA – Garcia Carrion tradition began in Jumilla in 1890, when our ancestors produced grapes in their own vineyards and sold wine from their own wineries. That year, our great-grandfather built a remarkably large winery to meet the growing demand from France, whose vineyards were ravaged by phylloxera, an aphid-like insect.
Since 1968, José García Carrión, along with his son Luciano since 1997, has led our expansion into international markets. For over 125 years and through five generations, we’ve proudly upheld our commitment to quality—in our products, our customer service, and the spirit of our team. Today, we’re excited to bring this legacy of excellence to the U.S. market.
Spain boasts the largest vineyard area in the world, with some of the most celebrated wine regions, each with its own Denomination of Origin (D.O.). Garcia Carrion, Spain’s leading winery and the fourth largest globally, has vineyards in the country’s most prestigious D.O.s, including Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Catalunya, Penedés, Jumilla, La Mancha, Valdepeñas, Toro and Cava. Our world-class winemakers craft each bottle from the finest grapes, handpicked from our own vineyards, ensuring that every bottle reflects the rich heritage and diverse terroir of Spain’s finest grape-growing areas.
